Working under limited supervision, the research assistant will provide overall coordination for funded grants and oversee data collection and recruitment for a research projects studying spinal research and outcomes. The research assistant will also be responsible for developing research designs, data collection methods, IRB protocols, and strategies for data management as part of any future research proposals and funding opportunities studying neurosurgical research and decision-making tools for treatment of patients undergoing surgical evaluation or surgery. The research assistant will collaborate with the PI of the research study as well as assisting neurosurgery residents through the research process of submitting projects to the IRB and facilitate contact with necessary groups within CWRU and UH.
Bachelor Degree 3-5 years of experience
Familiarity with grants, the grant process and the research process preferred.
