As the site of the county's only Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, we offer one of the only two adult and pediatric burn centers in the state of Ohio. Accommodating a total of more than one million patient visits annually, MetroHealth is an academic medical center for teaching and research, with each of its active physicians holding a faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Here is a chance to make a positive impact on the health of our community. Under the guidance of a pharmacist, the professionals we select for this important role will perform a wide variety of duties essential to the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients, and take calls for our 10 ambulatory pharmacies. These individuals will meet or exceed various departmental standards, including those for prescription turnaround times and medication-dispensing accuracy.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Current, active pharmacy technician certification in good standing from either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- 18 years of age or older with no felony convictions.
- High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalence exam.
